This week the coursework began. Daniela Jimenez, my partner and I decided to work together. We have chosen to make the magazine. Our tastes and our asechetic are very similar. We like things that are minimal, detailed and elegant. During this week of November we decided our ideas together. The genre of the magazine is a combination of fashion, politics and art.

The codes and conventions of the magazine that we defined were: - models in covers, designers, trends, brands with high position in the market, elegance. - Bias, formal tone and language, diction, politicians, contrasting sources, reliable sources. - Colors, images, few text, geometric and figures, fancy, unique.


We also talked about what the target audience was going to be. And we conclude that: The target audience were people who like beauty topics, but at the same time people that like and appreciate how fashion and make up are connected to art.


The target audience would be women from the early teens to late 50s, because the majority of the topics that are in this magazine have to do with subjects that women are interested in these ages, including art, making it also the target audience people more “ educated and sophisticated ”. The audience have an elevated economic income for the clothes, articles and art that are published in this magazine.


They like to be informed about what is happening around the world. They also want to be part of a change and fight for equality and rights for everyone.
